Privacy

We store as little as we can, and you can export or delete all of it at any time.

What we store

• Your Battle.net account ID and BattleTag from signing in. We never see your password or email.
• Your addon data, as uploaded by the companion: characters, gear, bags and banks, professions, reputation, gold history, auction prices and what you tracked.
• Paired devices: the name you gave them and when they last synced.
• A session cookie that keeps you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Public pages (opt-in)

Nothing you add here is public by default. You can switch on a public page for a character that belongs to your Battle.net account, at torvins.net/u/ and its name, and choose what it shows: the character sheet (level, class, gear, professions), your route, tracker, notes you marked public, that character's logbook and its published pictures. It never shows your BattleTag, account, gold or bags. Pictures you upload are stored resized as JPEG; the file you uploaded is not kept.

Item tooltips

Pages that show items, such as your character sheet, load Wowhead's tooltip script, icons and item details from wow.zamimg.com and wowhead.com. Wowhead then sees your IP address and browser, as with any site you visit, and its own privacy policy applies. Other pages load nothing from outside torvins.net.

Community data (opt-in)

If you turn on sharing, the rares you found, what creatures dropped and what vendors sell are combined with other players' data and published in the addon's data file. It contains no character names or account information, and it is only published once at least 3 people share. Turning sharing off removes your contribution from the next file.

Your rights

From your dashboard you can download everything we hold about you as JSON, remove devices, and delete your account. Deleting the account removes all of your data right away.
